Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/1/2013(UTC) Posts: 1		I have an LG dryer model num: DLE2532W. When I hit the start button it won't start. It makes a noise then shuts off. If I open the dryer and spin the drum and then close the door and hit the start button it runs fine. Would this just be a loose dryer belt?

Could be bad start up windings in the motor or bad capacitor or wire harness. Could be a bad belt, seized tensioner or roller/s seized also it could be a bad or warped drum jamming the process their known for real bad cheaply thin metal drums if it is the drum call LG they i believe have a 10 year warranty on it and it's a real common problem. It's an LG there made cheap and break easy unfortunately. Best bet is to call a service tech these machines can be difficult even for techs to figure out.
