NO ice maker. Top freezer. Maybe near 20 yr old.

Refrig performs flawlessly, but the noise has been there for years. Noise is clicky, rattle like, loud enough to hear 10 feet away. Figured it was the evap fan, so installed a new one 6 mo ago and the noise was back almost immediately (not when I tested it while apart or course!) and I checked around in the area and found nothing else visual to be concerned about. But that's where the noise is. Unchanged, so I'm sure it's not the replacement fan. I really need to save this unit as it's almost built in to the cabinets and will be very hard to replace with a perfect size.
