I have a GE cook stove that is presently set up to burn propane . I have sinced moved into a house that has natural gas and I was wondering if any one knew of a conversion kit to go from Propane to NG for this unit?

Contact the manufacture or look on the back of the unit you may have the natural gas orfices taped on the back of the unit (natural gas will have much smaller orfice holes then propane. Also you can call your local gas dealers that sell propane and gas conversions they should have the conversion kits and probably would do it for a fair price. Good luck

Yes you'll ruin your pots and pans and overcook your food. Also there's the fire factor i wouldn't suggest using it till you do the conversion.

Been told since its a " older" model all I had to do was flip the regulator from Pro. to NG , told I need this,this,this and that to make it work , told you can use propane orf. in NG usage just >>>>>>>>> ?/ AAAAAGGGGGHHHHH !! I do know that GE makes a conversion kit to go from NG to propane but DOESNT make a kit visa-versa !!!

You don't necessarily need a GE conversion kit most orfices work across different brands. Take out one orfice, take it to your local propane selling shop and ask them if they carry the NG orfices you'll need those guys are usually very helpful and have everything you need. Watch a couple youtube video's on how to remove the orfices and what you need to do it's very helpful.

Been here at new house for 2 wks and cant take much more micro-wave food !!!!!

Got home last night from work and the wife had " nuked" corn on the cob. Another thing I have come across on the websites is that there are 3 to 4 different NG orfices and no one can tell me exactly which one I need or how many???!!
