My Frigidaire gas oven will not come on. Broiler works. The glow coil is coming on but it appears the gas valve is not turning on. I replaced the dual gas valve and it came right on and heated to temp set. My wife tried turning it on the next day and it did not come on after leaving it on for an hour. Just the glow coil was working. everything else works on the appliance. What other component would control the gas valve? I can find no part on the diagram that shows a temp sensor. Is the control panel the only other replacement option?

If you have 120v going to the bake ignitor and it doesn't open the safety valve the ignitor is weak or going bad probably. Take a multimeter with an amp clamp and see if your pulling 3 amps or more if you are the ignitor should be fine. Also if you don't have an amp clamp visually inspect the ignitor to see if it's ashy or white if so it needs replacement.
