Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 8/12/2013(UTC) Posts: 2		Our dishwasher has started shutting down at various times during the wash parts of the cycle. My wife has been getting it to advance to the next stage by opening the door, pounding on the top of the door, and closing it. I know that's primitive but she got it to work for a while. Now, it stops at shorter and shorter intervals to the point that she can no longer get it to complete the wash cycle. It seems to fill and drain properly and I removed and cleaned the screen and chopper. The black plastic handle has been broken for a while but the door still seems to latch properly. Help? Harry

Same failure point Checked water temperature at +130 degrees F Ran a Field Service Test and it came back "Motor - low current" Ran the Manual Function Test and everything checked out except for "Wash Motor" Checked continuity and resistance on the motor windings... 4ohm on the main winding, 16ohm on the start winding... that seems within tolerance from what info I can find [/LIST] Anybody have something else to check before I ante up for a control board? I'd love to find out I've overlooked something simple. Thanks, Techarry

When you start the machine, if there isn't good draining, it stopped mid-cycle, and sometimes there will be water left over in the basin of the machine, or even leaking from the bottom. This video will you show you how to repair your dishwasher and replace the drain hose easily. Its not a complicated fix if this is your issue, so I hope this quick video will help you repair it yourself (should cost $8-12 to fix).
