need to replace timer on right side of top panel would like to know how to take apart

This model is not specifically mentioned in the service material, but usually on these models you can remove the timer by taking out the top screws on the console, then pry off the center cover piece (careful now) on the timer knob and that should get you to the screws that hold the timer on. The wires are all connected in back.
