Hello,

I am having an issue with the spin cycle on this unit. When it starts the spin cycle it starts to ramp up speed, then fails... lock light flashes. Initially thought lock assembly was bad and I replaced it. Looking at a few of the other post's I am wondering if the shift actuator is going bad. It washes fine but when it starts the spin cycle it stops working.. times out with a flashing lid light :( .
Starting to think Whirlpool should have painted these washers yellow with all the issues others are having with these units. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

This is an update to my original post. Today I replaced the shift actuator and everything is working correctly.

Thanks for the update, a very common high failure item on these washers.
