First we replaced the gas coils because the flame would go out after 2 min. Now the dryer keeps running on auto and timed dry. It won't shut off unless you stop it manually.

Why was the timer working before replacement of the gas coils and now it's not? :mad: What do I do next?

Gas coils have nothing to do with the timing on the unit other then allowing gas to burn when in heating cycle. If anything your timer is probably sticking or going faulty check connections and wires at timer.
