hi,
I got this second hand. told it works fine but they bought a house that has a newer 1.
when I got it home I found I don't have water going in.
I did lay it on the side to bring it home. also cleaned the screens and know the supply of water is good.
Help me please!

The first thing I would check (assuming the water shut off valves on the wall are open) is the water inlet valve (#33 on the cabinet break down diagram).

Check for 120V coming to both coils while the control calls for warm water.

If there is 120V - replace the water inlet valve.

Ir there is no 120V - check wires, the water temperature switch and the timer according to the schematic in the tech sheets (behind the bottom panel).

- The part number for the water inlet valve is AP3363282

- The part number for the water temperature switch is AP3867041

- The part number for the timer is AP2107659

Here are the break down diagrams for the Frigidaire washer Model FWT449GFS1

I have another frigidaire that the motor burner out of a few months ago.
so I tried the water inlet valve and the timer but it still does the same thing.
the switch that sets the temp for the washes is the other one you said about,RIGHT? the old one has many great things to try.the model of it is fwt647ghs1 I have to get a tester to see if there is power in the back butthe timer looks like it goes through the cycle so I am going to put them in the one that will work as repair parts.the timer and inlet are the same so I think the rest will work.
thank you very much.
