I have a side by side Frigidaire frig that takes pure source 2 water filters. I just removed the original and got a new filter. The rist one i bought kept popping out so i got another. I was running water through it to finish the flush and the filter flew out across the room! Luckily no one was hurt. Now the filter keeps popping out! I read about replacing the filter housing but what are the instructions on how to do it? Thnks!

I know this is old, but in case anyone else looks. It seems the new puresource2 filter backing is slightly different. The long linear piece of plastic in the middle of the filter is too long and as soon as the water pressure hits it, it pops out of the housing. I used a dremel to trim it down to the size of the old one. Works fine now.
