Hello All,
I was about to order a new basket due to rust showing up at many of the holes (I saw some people sand away, re-porcelain, etc.) but it seems like that will keep it away temporarily, and I don't really have the time to do 20 of those holes!
My question is if replacing the basket, are there any other parts I should replace as more of a preventative maintenance since I am taking it apart anyway?
Thanks! Mike

If your going to go through all that hassle of dismantling it make sure your gearcase isn't leaking oil, that your brake and clutch is working properly..............also make sure you get the tub seal/s and the seal that goes on the top of the drive basket....replace the drive block.......check your dog agits inside the agitator.......also i usually replace the drive basket if i'm doing the a tub job..........check your springs on the base of the tub make sure there stable and not rusty or corroded........there are also milkstool pads part number 285219 which sit in between the milkstool n skate plate that get worn check those as well............
