Hi,
I have a frigidaire FRL170. The digital readout shows 8 degrees c on the display but the fridge feels a lot cooler. The sensor itself is a small stick type probe that just clips into the side.

Is it common for the probes to give incorrect readings or could it be the main circuit board ? Is it possible to test the probe ?

Thanks in advance
Danny

I cannot find any info on the given model number please check it.
If this is a non North American unit I probably will not be able to get any info on it.

Check the actual temperature with a thermometer.

Could be either but a bad board is more likely.
Also could be a bad/dirty connection where the sensor attaches to the board.

Yes but I would need to find the tech info.
It is probably a thermistor so you may want to Google "thermistor resistance" to get some general info.
