I have error F3 ( heating broken ) on Whirlpool dishwasher. It has integrated heating above the pump as seen on picture http://s14.postimg.org/40ix1slz5/dishwasher.jpgI examined heating element, it is not broken. It has lost a contact as seen on picture http://s21.postimg.org/y...t3/dishwasherheating.jpgI suppose it is some kind of protection. It looks something like bimetal switch, thermo switch or something??? Dont know much about it. Question is what is purpose of that. I used gently a screwdriver on it, and now it has a contact.. Should I buy a new heater ?? or this is ok? Help appreciated! and thanks!

A model number may help others help you. Find your model number - AppliancePartsPros.comShould I buy a new heater ?? or this is ok? I would probably buy a new assembly as you may have bent something in the device so that now it will not open if there is a problem. |
