Hi there,

Thanks in advance for your help!

Cannot get refrigerator to cool to desired temperature. Freezer works fine and i've confirmed that defrost works (have burn on finger to prove it). Icemaker makes ice, but ice in bin melts slowly and water drips into lower door tray. Air flows slowly into the fridge at the top vent, but not always. Nothing seems comes out of the vent leading into the door where the ice dispenser is located.

I have run the diagnostics on the control panel and all seems to be fine.

Is it the Control Damper? Thermistor? How do i get to these parts to replace them?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Get a mirror and run diagnostic testing and look with a small mirror and see if the control damper is moving back and forth while in diagnostic.........sometimes ice gets in the way or the damper burns out and stops the air flow or makes it minimal and ineffective.........start with that

ok I ran the diagnostics and watched the control damper work on both the "evaporator fan motor and air baffle motor" and "ice box fan motor and ice box air baffle motor" tests. it opened and closed both times. I let it cool and the temperature, tho set to go to 39 degrees, hung at 52. it eventually went thru a defrost cycle and the damper closed. i ran diagnostics again and it opened and closed.
