My Kitchen Aid Refrigerator was getting stuck. After lots of hair pulling I found out (or I think I did) I had replaced the wrong stat, I replaced the fridge stat, not the freezer stat.

Got the freezer stat today, installed it.... Compressor fires for a few seconds (30-90) then goes off. Put the old stat back in, same response.

First how can I get an electrical schematic? Kitchen Aid will not sell or provide one. Is there one hidden on the machine? I have been told they place them in the front grille, but not on this one.

Any ideas what to do next??

ps I changed the adaptive defrost control also.
