My lg fridge is not cooling freezer has defrosted evap fan is working and my compressor is warm

Just an idea from what i've been running into. Lg has an engineering designing flaw in there refrigerators......The manufacture puts the bi metal in the wrong spot giving bad readings and making it run incorrectly try moving the bimetal on the evap lines 6-8" down or up from where it's at and see how your running after that. It usually fixes the problems similar to what your complaint is about. If the wire isn't long enough you may have to splice the line and make sure you crimp and take it real well so it doesn't short out. This may be your problem it's really common in LG fridges.
