Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/2/2008(UTC) Posts: 13		Am I able to access the door resistance assembly on this model without pulling the dishwasher out from under the counter? When you open the door on this machine, it drops to the "all the way open" position. There is no resistance. I would assume that one or both springs have broken, but don't have a repair manual. Can someone provide a link to a repair manual, or some insight into what may be the problem and how to fix it? Thanks!

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 6/2/2008(UTC) Posts: 13		I pulled the bottom panel, and both springs and bushings are still in tact. I found what looks to be a "friction pad" broken off of one of the hinges. I'm thinking I've found the problem?
