Water dispenser flowed slowly, so someone told husband to either use a medal hanger or put a hair dryer up near dispenser and that might warm any warer icing that might be blocking the tubing. So right after hubby tried it the water flow did get fast however now it won't stop flowing. We can push the ice button and it too continues and wont stop. It did stop when unplugged and finally we turned the waterline off. We thought maybe the warmth from the hair dryer was some how affecting a sensor around the dispenser so we are waiting a little bit and then turning the water back on. However it seems like it might be with the push pad some how. Thanks, Any ideas?

So it's been about 30 min and now everything is great and working. I guess it had to cool. End result hair dryer did speed the flow.

GE model GSS25WGMBBB water dispenser doesn't shut off unless I unplug connection on back of the control panel. Is this a water valve issue? I replaced the solonoid recently and thought it would solve the water issue but it didn't. The water came on randomly. ps. not sure I am posting this in correct area. First time user of the site.
