Washer runs fine in all cycles except rinse cycle, then just hums.
When timer knob is manually turned to spin, it completes the wash cycle.
I suspect a bad timer, but before laying out $$$ want to make sure.

Where in the cycle does it stop? Where is the hum? timer, drive motor, fill valves?

Wash- fill, agitate, drain, spin
Rinse- fill, agitate, drain, spin
