I just replaced the control module in my dishwasher. The new module has an "end of cycle chime". Is there any way short of using a hammer to disable this chime? It chimes every 10 minutes forever. The first night my wife ran the dishwasher before we went to bed and I woke up about midnight to open the door to stop the chime.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By the way...ordered the module here at 2:30 thurs afternoon....was on my front porch when I came home from work Fri. Very impressive!

I'm thinking that I'll need to go back in, take out the module, open it up and locate the chime. I'd imagine something soldered dirrectly to the circuit board. If I took this part off is there a chance of this effecting any of the other electronics? The old module doesn't seem to have space for anything. The new module is a replacement not an exact part number match. I wouldn't expect major differences...like some they put in the chime and some not.
