The compressor works, coils in freezer get cold, but the evaporator fan won't run. I removed the fan and tested with power directly to the motor and the fan works. What should I check next?

A model number may help others help you.

Check across the fan for 120 volts in the unit when the compressor is on.

Sometimes a fan will run outside the unit when it has warmed up but will not run when cold.
