Real quickly - I did a whole bunch of research but still not entirely certain as to what is wrong. Dryer heats fine, spins fine, cleaned it all out (ducts/dryer internals/etc) the whole deal, but intermittently the dryer will stop working mid cycle. You never have to wait for it to cool to restart, it will go right back to work if you're there to push the button, but beyond that I don't know.
So..... Runs (Yes) Heats (Yes) Blower Runs (Yes) Ducts and Internals Are Clear (Yes)
Just shuts off mid cycle every now and then. Door is tight as well, so I don't think its getting knocked loose from the inside by the load or rattling loose either. Thoughts/Questions/Comments welcome.

Here are your parts Parts for Whirlpool LER4634EQ2 Dryer - AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the wiring diagram. This will be a pain to find as it is intermittent. First I would check all connections in the motor circuit. Check that they fit tightly to the parts and that the connectors are properly crimped. Probably the first part I would change out is the door switch. Just because it's actuator stays closed does not mean that the contacts in the switch are staying closed. If the problem is very intermittent then you may want to live with it as there is no way to troubleshoot it reliably. |
