when turning the timer the dryer makes a sound as it were already running, belt is good. Found some parts loose in the bottom a grey little piece with 2 springs attached to it

Hi.

Can you, please describe the symptoms in a different way. On the bottom of what did you find the "grey little piece with 2 springs"? Does "loose" mean broken? The picture of it might help.
