Sooo, I purchased a used stack-able Maytag washer/dryer on craigslist. The previous owner was very honest about the problem (I got them for super cheap), but now I am trying to find a wiring diagram to diagnose what is actually going on. The dryer works, but gets too hot and trips the safety switch, which automatically shuts it off.

Any ideas/link to a schematic?

I do not know what safety switch you are referring to.
