I have a 2005 Frigidaire stainless SxS which is showing a fault code flashing 4 on ff side of control. I have been able to find out this means the damper failed the start up test, and I just replaced the damper, but it still has the flashing code 4. Does this mean that the board is bad? It was replaced previously, when the H2O filter leaked and shorted it out. The repair service for the warranty company worked on it 3 times before they replaced it with a new frig. It will run and get cold, but only for a day or less, then it gets warm. Can ANYONE help me figure this out?
Thanks,
Larry

i know that Frigidaire was sending out the wrong control board in the correct box ( believe it or not it happened to me 2x ).. finally i had to call ELECTROLUX directly and had them send me the board direct to customer.. i believe that the 4 is because there is a wiring issue with one of the microswitches where the damper motor is and it will not allow the damper / control board to recognize "open" position .. if you can get me the s# i can give you better info direct from TECH ASSIST ...
