How do you determine which item needs to be replaced?
Our Amana convection oven has been displaying an F1 code and beeping, indicating a bad ERC.
I disconnected the touch pad ribbon from the ERC, and there has been no subsequent code or beeping since restoring power.
This seems to indicate that perhaps the touch pad is defective, rather than the ERC.
Has anyone else confronted this problem?

Hi.
Most likely it is a bad touch pad, but there is still a small chance that the ERC is defective. You can use our return policy and order both parts, and then return the one you don't need. To get you the correct part numbers I need the serial number of the unit.
