Dried my usual load of clothes. Went to push the button to start the next drying for another load and nothing happens. It appears to be dead. Plugged and unplugged, cleaned the vent. Still dead. Any ideas?

Hello.

Please check first the circuit breakers. Look for a double breaker. Flip it off and then on.
If that trick doesn't help, you need to check the thermal fuse.
Unplug the dryer, remove the rear panel. The thermal fuse is located on the blower housing, next to the operating thermostat.

Use a pair of pliers to remove one wire off the fuse. Check the continuity between the two fuse contacts. you should have <1ohm. If there is no continuity the fuse is burnt out and should be replaced.
The burned out thermal fuse is a sign of the restricted air flow. Clean the vents, inside and outside the dryer.
Also, the manufacture recommends to replace the operating thermostat along with the fuse.
