I have a Whirlpool 8280869 washer, and today I found this thing at the bottom of the washer. I feel stupid to ask, but is it a part from the washer, or is it just something that was in someone's pants pocket?
:)

Thanks

You seem to be missing the first three digits of the model number.
Sears numbers are usually 3 digits, a period and then an additional 6 to 8 digits.

It looks like a lint filter from a clothes washer.
