This is a upright 12.0 freezer that was working fine, until I moved it. We were very careful not to tip the freezer too much while moving . But ever since we moved it , It kicks on and off after about 5-10 seconds of running. After moving I let sit for about a day and half before turning it on. I havbe tried to let it click on and off by leaving it on for a few hours. I have tried adjusting the setting inside the freezer. When I leave it on after about 4 hours it is cooler than room temp but not near freezer cool at all. Any Ideas on what this might be???

Thanks

Hearing the compressor click on and off is not a good sign. Moving it won't usually do any damage so I'm going to have to say that's a coincidence. The model you've listed doesn't show as being a good number. Do you know whether or not your unit has a fan motor on the back that cools the compressor and condensor? If it does, make sure something doesn't have the blade blocked. If that's not the case then you're probably looking at a bad compressor.

There are some generic all in one, start relay, overload, capacitor kits out there. If you can get the horsepower off the compressor I can recommend one for you to try that might get it going.
