I just fixed the issue with my dishwasher not draining, now it doesn't seem to be getting any water when I start the cycle or very little water. Please help......:confused:

Easiest way, is to check if the valve is getting voltage when it should. IF NOT Check that the float switch (overflow) is not stuck in the up position. Switch should normally be closed. Check that all the wires are connected properly.
IF YES Could be when you fixed the other problem you could have knocked some scale/crud off the water inlet pipe. There is a filter screen on the input side of the water valve it may be blocked. Check and clean it. Do not remove it as it is there to ensure that crud does not get into the valve, holding it open and causing a flood. If it is clean the water valve needs replacing. |
