Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/29/2009(UTC) Posts: 11,699		If you look at this diagram of your model 04-Top parts for Admiral LATA400AAW - AppliancePartsPros.com you will see that there are clips that hold the front to the top. Insert a screw driver to release the top and it should swing upward. If there are screws at the bottom of the front panel, take these out and the front panel will swing outward.
