I am not getting water out of the front door dispenser. I believe the ice is still working. I checked the solenoids on the back and they are working. I have water flow up until the OUT side of the filter located inside the fridge. There is a clog or problem between the filter and the door dispenser.

I disconnected the line between the door and under the fridge and no flow there but I do have a drip from water in the line so that tells me it's not frozen.

Does anyone have a diagram of the line that leaves the filter, I figure it must branch off somewhere since it would also have to go to the ice maker. The line looks like it goes down the right side rear corner, but I'd hate to tear everything out if I don't need to.

It was working and just stopped, I was filling up a large container and it just quit. It's leaving the filter but not getting to the door.

Any ideas?

I turned down the thermostat several hours ago to let it come up in temp and no good.

I am thinking that there is another valve hidden somewhere besides the one where you connect the water to. I have to find that.

I think I figured it out, behind the plastic. 2 switches per. One is probably bad or the valve.

Does anyone know how to remove the front plastic around the ice/water?

I pulled the cover off, bypassed the switch and still nothing, so now I need to find the valve that goes between the filter and door.

Quite the learning experience.

I tested both switches with an ohm meter and they were fine. I located the 'After Filter' water valve and that is dead.

There are 2 pairs of water valves on this fridge, 2 for water/ice BEFORE the filter and then AFTER the filter there are 2 more and this is where it branches off to the water/ice.

You should normally feel it click/energize/hum when it is on, this one is dead.

Ordered Part, 35 bucks, 15 mins to replace it.

It is located on the bottom pan if anyone is interested, you need to move the fridge and slide the tray back, attached with 2 1/4 inch screws.

Same problem with a Whirlpool. When you disconnected between door and under refrigerator, did you press the water dispenser lever to test water flow? Ours spurted water when we did that, but still would not come out through dispenser in the door. Our line in the door had some dirt in it, and technician replaced it, but also showed us how to do the disconnect and just blow hard through the line in the door to clear the grit out if it happens again. The actual valve in ours is in the back of the fefrigerator. There is no valve in the door, just the water line.
