Hi I am looking for some technical assistance and narrowing down my fridge, maytag mzd2665hew, issue. The unit stopped and is not cooling. Cleaned all condensers and coils. Replace compressor unload capacitor and good ohms reading at compressor (4.5 + 4.5 on both terminals then third poll to poll = 9.5 ). No continuity issues with compressor terminals. The compressor gets warm but not hot. I had no ice buildup. Ty Gjvoight@yahoo.comSent from my iPad

Remove the rear panel in the freezer and check how the evaporator coils are covered with frost. Normally it suppose to be thin layer of frost all over the coils. If there is no frost at all or the coils are covered only partially, very likely the sealed system is low on Freon.
Gene.

Gene. Thanks all the help. Apparently there is a design flaw with this unit which causes pin hole leaks in the freon lines. Maytag serviceman diagnosed it.

Why I'm not surprised? I hope Maytag will take care of it with no charge to you.
Gene.
