I just replaced an older dishwasher because I assumed it was starting to fail because it was old. After a cycle I would find some soap still in the dispenser, the dishes only partially cleaned and they always seemed to have a soap residue. So I replaced with a new GE GDWT358V55ES and from the very first cycle I've had the exact same issue. I appreciate any help or suggestions!!

sounds like you have a water supply problem. the valve from the sink could be clogged partially, or the water line could be kinked. not enough water would cause these problems.
