washer stopped spinning with load of towels in. Drained it and took towels and it started to spin again, added a couple of towels...stopped spinning again and now won't spin at all. Pulled back panel and belt in good condition. tried to run without belt, motor did a clicking noise but didn't spin. Shaft on motor spins smoothly by hand. Motor problem or MCU? Model ghw9100lw1

I would take a close look at the drum bearings before putting any parts into it.

drum moves smoothly by hand both ways
