Hi, I wonder if someone can help me pretty quickly. I have a Kenmore Coldspot Model 106.56689502 Manufactured in 2006. Both Freezer and refrigerator all of a sudden are not cooling at all. Here are the symptoms/observations so far:

- cleaned the coils
- hear fan inside freezer come on (runs continously)
- don't feel any air blowing over ice maker like usually do
- don't hear the compressor coming on
- don't hear any rattling when shaking start relay on compressor
- don't hear any clicking noise like the compressor is trying to start
- fan near compressor is spinning/blowing
- put refrigerator in service diagnostics mode, 1-1, 2-1, 3-fan comes on, 4-condensor fan comes on but not compressor. put multimeter at compressor connector and do get 120V reading, 5-fan comes on
- checked resistance for run and start on compressor and get about 4 and 9 ohms respectively. continuity test reads no short between any of the pins and body.

Is it the start relay? Part number on relay is 2255198 and run capacitor 2169373.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Today, I also did a voltage test thru the start relay (not connected to the compressor) and both start and run shows 120V at the same time. What's the issue?

Thanks.
