The refrigerator works and cools just fine. It is only a problem with the digital display inside the refrigerator cabinet. Some of the light bars for the digits do not light up, for example, an 8 might look like a 3 or 5. This is happening on both the freezer or refrigerator display windows. If I can repair this, does anyone know the part number?

Ammarosa, Based on your post description. Missing segments of the digital display will require replacing the electronic control

Part number: AP4538458
Part number: AP4538458

To replace the control, you will need to remove power to the refrigerator and remove the light cover, and all articles on the top shelf. Look on the back of the control box housing, you'll find two(2) slots, insert a flat blade screw- driver into the slot and press in on the hidden tab, and twist the screwdriver so the housing separates from the liner. Pivot the control box down and out so the front tabs separate from the liner, unplug the wire harness connector from the board. Unclip the board from the retainers and reverse the procedure. You'll then need to program the "personality" code into the new board when the power is reapplied.
