I have a combo washer dryer unit that suddenly quit working the other day. The washer will fill and run through the full wash cycle. However, at the end of the wash cycle it just stops and sits there without draining. I have pulled apart the drain lines and pump and I can't find anything clogging the lines or jamming the pump. I also checked the lid switch and it seems to be working. I'm having a little trouble getting to the rest of the controls, and so I could use some suggestions about what to try next to help diagnose the problem.
Thanks.

Does the motor run after agitation stops? Or all quiet? If the motor isn't running or humming, then it sounds like the lid switch. Did you check it with a multimeter? Or just try jumping it out.

It's totally silent. Everything just shuts off. I tested the switch with a multimeter and it seems to work, but it never tried using a jumper to bypass it all together.

I jumpered the washer lid switch and still nothing. I can do the wash or rinse cycle, but as soon as the motor has to change direction to drain, everything stops

Then it looks like a faulty timer or wiring/connections between lid switch and timer. During agitate, power to the drive motor and timer motor is through the water level pressure switch. During drain/spin, it's through the pressure switch bypass contacts inside the timer. These contacts are in series with the lid switch.
