Dryer turns on and works fine in Timed Dry mode, but no heat in Automatic mode, In automatic mode the drum roates and the air blower works fine, just no heat. Checked the moisture sensor strip and wire connection to it at the back.
Please help..

Here are your parts Parts for Whirlpool LET7848DQ0 Dryer - AppliancePartsPros.comSee the attachment for the tech sheet. It should not be the moisture sensor as it and it's electronic control just control the advancing of the timer. Sounds like it may be a timer problem. It is the only part that actually changes things between timed and auto cycles. Set the unit to auto, mid cycle and then open the door to stop the unit. Unplug the unit. Remove the wires from one side of Timer Switch 2 on the timer. This ensures that you do not read an alternate/parallel circuit path. Then measure across Timer Switch 2 with a meter. It should be 0 ohms. |
