Hi,
I have a stacked Kenmore HE4 front loader set. Intermittently, while drying a load, the laundry room gets steamed up to the point where there is condensation on the window. Dryer model is 110.95862401
I've double checked the the dryer vent stack (it's clear), checked and retaped the joints, and also taken apart the dryer to inspect inside. I don't see any obvious issues with the dryer exhaust vent pipe inside or outside the dryer.
The door seals on the dryer look good and the door closes tightly. I'm starting to wonder if the drum seals are starting to go and maybe the problem is intermittent due to size of the load.
Any ideas of what else to check?
Thanks for any help or pointers!

I cannot be much help to you as this is one of those you have to be there to troubleshoot it. I doubt is is the drum seals but anything is possible.
The reason I think this is that the air from the heater is sucked through the drum and therefore is under negative pressure, so if they leak they pull in outside air.
My guess would be a problem at the blower or with the output from the blower. |
