For the last few days I've been hearing a click immediately followed by a humming or buzzing sound that lasts for about 5 seconds. The fridge and freezer both still seem to be plenty cold--berries are frozen and the milk is chilly. But I would guess I'm going to have a failure soon.
From reading other posts, I'm guessing it's a start problem. Could someone recommend a part number for me?

Thanks!:) Blueandyellow, Based on your post description, you may ave a weak overload Part number: AP3363280
and or start relay Part number: AP3363281
But if it's keeping things cool or frozen, the compressor eventually starts and runs. You may also want to check and make sure you have the proper voltage at the outlet(115 to 120 VAC), and the voltage remains above 105 VAC when the compressor starts.
