I have a maytag Mff2557HES , lower freezer and french door fridge. I have had it for about 8 years.

The freezer works find but warm in fridge.

Cleaned out coils front and back, not much there.

Verified that damper in fridge works.

Removed back inside freezer. There was not defrost issue at all.

Evaporator fan that moves cold air from freezer to fridge was off.

Removed the power connection from fan and after reconnected fridge power measured voltage across the fan +/- connection.

Reconnected the power and fan doesn't go on. Turned the fan by hand it moves very hard and the fan moves for short time. But fan moves very very slow. Turning it by had feels like the motor be gummed up or bearings.

It appears the fan is toast. Is this a common issue?

Have I missed anything? In thing else it could be?

Looking at a parts guide PDF I found online it shows part number 67003917. But some sites show it as part number 12002744. With this several different brand names. Which number should I be looking for?

Thanks

Here are your parts

I am assuming that when you checked the voltage it was 120 volts.

Part number: AP4009649
