I'm trying to trouble shoot an F2 error and need to know how to access the electronics involved - any tips of instruction guides available?

Hi.

Turn the gas and power off.
Remove the grates and burner caps.
Take out two screws holding each burner head and remove the heads.
Lift the rear of the cooktop and remove it.
Peel the rubber tape from around the top access panel, try not to break it.
Take out four screws and remove thew access panel.

To check the control board use the multimeter.
Check for continuity across P4-1 and P5-1, P5-2, P5-5.(take the wires off while testing).
If you have continuity between any of the contacts - replace the control

Simon,
Thanks. I removed the access cover but the control card is located on the right side and not easily visible. See the pic below. Any thoughts on how to get better access?

I got access to the card - maybe not the easiest way but I got there. Now how do I unlatch the connectors that appear to have a living hinge type of latch. I am concerned I may break the latches?

Thanks again

Hi.

Not sure a 100% but it looks like just simple pull out plugs.
Small correction on the test points.
Check between P4-1 and P5-1, P5-3, P5-4.

Simon,
I found continuity between P4-1 and P5-1. Now I just hope I remember how to put it all back together.

Thanks again,
Joe

Simon,
Well I'm closer.... Got the new card and it didn't quite fix it. I found out I had blown the fuse as well. Now I have a new fuse but didn't record the orientation when I removed the old one. Is the orientation of the fuse critical? There is the white conic material on one side of the fuse - should it be pointed in a particular direction?

Thanks Again,
Joe

A fuse is non directional part. You can install it any ways.
Are you sure it's a fuse?
What is it's part number? Can you send a picture, Please?
