Hey All,

I have a GE profile side by side that was working well, one day in the summer i was having a party so i pulled out my ice tray and dumped in into the cooler. Since that day the ice maker has not worked right.

When I look in the ice bucket its like the water pooled and froze (not a lot) in the ice bucket. Also looks like some has leaked down from the bucket onto the shelves but not in a major way. Sometimes I might see three ice cubes kind of combined into one larger one.

I have tried power the unit off, checking to see if the Ice bucket was setup correctly i do have a green light.

Any ideas?

Hello,

Make sure the water feeding tube has not been dislodged and it goes straight into the ice maker. Also check if it's not clogged with icicles.

If there is nothing wrong, swap the wires at the water inlet valve solenoids. Push the water dispenser lever for a few seconds and check for water inside the ice maker.

If there is water, replace the ice maker.

If there is no water, replace the water inlet valve.
