This is a standard 30" electric range. The oven has stopped reaching temp.... most of the time. There are times that it will reach the selected temp. but most of the time it doesn't want to go hotter than approx 240F no matter what it's set to.
I have basic DIY skills and am comfortable going in to replace a thermostat or sensor. Both parts are fairly cheap and I figured I would try that before calling in a repairman or buying a new range.
Does this sound like a thermostat or sensor issue?

HI.
Please check the model number, the one you provided doesn't come up. If this oven if equipped with gas hot surface ignitor - that would be the part to check.
Simon.

Thank you for the reply. I apologize... this is an electric range. I verified the model number and have the manual in front of me. It lists 3 models: FCQ321HTUX/B/W (abbreviated here). The X is stainless finish, B is black (mine) and W is white. This model number shows up in various Google searches. It's the only number I have. It seems the most common finish is stainless as that shows up in most of the search and also when I search on Samsung's website: http://www.samsung.com/us/suppo...wners/product/FCQ321HTUX

Hi. Due to the lock of information for this model I just have to use my experience. Most likely you should replace the oven sensor Part number: AP4343210
Post the results. Simon.

OK. Thank you for your time in looking. I was going to flip a coin and/or replace both the sensor and thermostat at the same time. But I was hoping for a suggestion over which one would be the best to try first.
Thank you again. I'll be placing the order soon.
