whirlpool dryer model lgr7620lw0 . My neighbors need help. They noticed the dryer was acting up when it would stay on all night and the cloths wouldn't feel warm . This happens on energy saver mode. Trying it on a different cycle it will shut off but only heats up for moments at a time usually only at the beginning of the cycle then doesn't heat up anymore. The clothes stays wet so they're best bet is to let the dryer run with air to let the clothes dry.

Thermocouple?
Or knob problem?
Or something else.

They asked me cause im pretty handy and they're funds are low. Thanks in advance
