I have a Whirlpool natural gas range (SF379LEKQ), with the temperature fluctuating, as much as 75 degrees. It'll be 50 degrees too low for a couple of hours and then swing to 75 degrees too high.
The temperature sensor checks out OK at room temperature. According to my Googling, it should be 1100 ohms, +/- 50, and mine is 1092 ohms.
The oven is clean.
Does anyone else have any ideas? Should I just replace the sensor anyway, since that's what a repair guy will surely do first, regardless of the reading?
