Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/16/2013(UTC) Posts: 1		Hi all, I have a GE Profile Prodigy electric dryer that won't start. The screws holding the drum to the bearing had stripped out so I just replaced them. I turned the dryer on and it ran great. opened the door to check that the drum was spinning and then it wouldn't turn on again. I checked the timer switch, the door switch, thermal fuse, and start switch and they are all good. Behind the switch panel there is a green ground wire that is connected to the panel with a screw the other end has a terminal clip but is not connected to anything. Is that what is causing the problem? I cannot see where it is supposed to clip to. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
