Gas dryer won't shut off unles you open door. Timer moves. Tried in timer and dryness mode. Push to start button is not needed to run.

Check your motor's centrifugal switch. I bet it is stuck in the run position.
Put a tad of oil on the shaft to help it slide and clean out the lint from it.
