OK...I know the part that's disintegrating...so-called "seal short bottom door" on old ge profile DW. I've ordered it (twice now). My question: How do I get the darn thing OUT of the unit without breaking whatever it is popped into and then, how do I get the replacement back in snugly?

Thanks.

Try opening the inner door by removing the screws on the inner panel. By doing this you can access the seal at the bottom of the inner door.
